Rich started his career as a segment producer for CBS Radio News. Since then, he has over 20 years experience in film and video as both a producer and editor, leading projects with The Associated Press, The Food Network, Comedy Central and TV ONE. Rich has also worked on a wide variety of both non-for-profit and branded media projects with clients including Intel, PepsiCo, Verizon, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, The Clinton Foundation and The End Fund.
His first independent documentary, A Modern Hat Story, won the Director’s Choice Award at the Black Maria Film Festival and aired on PBS. His other films have been screened at the Newburyport Doc Film Festival, the Hot Springs Doc Film Festival and IC Docs Film Festival.
His new documentary feature film The Irritable Heart is currently on the festival circuit and scheduled for distribution in 2023.
